Residents in Ellenbrook have waited far too long for a pool and leisure centre – but our Government is getting on with the job of making this a reality.

With $42 million committed to the project from the State and Federal Governments, a new preferred site has been identified, right next to the soon to be completed METRONET Ellenbrook Train Station.

The location is by far the best place for the new pool and leisure centre, and will integrate well with other key investments we are making in Ellenbrook – like the new METRONET Train Station.

This means that everyone in Ellenbrook and surrounds who will get access to new bus services will be able to catch a bus to the new pool as well as those living in Noranda, Ballajura, Dayton, Brabham and Henley Brook can catch either a train or a bus to the new centre.

It’s more than double the size of the original site that had been identified and will allow us to deliver a bigger and better facility including a 50m pool and four indoor sports courts!
